Anaesthetist are physicians whom specialises in anaesthetics and perioperative care. They are in charge of creating a tailored anaesthetic plan for each patient, providing airway management, intraoperative life support, pain control, intraoperative stabilisation and post-operative care. At Rejang Specialist Hospital, our resident anaesthetist is also in charge of special care wards such as the High Dependency Unit (HDU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) . He also provides pain consultations for patients, working together with surgeons and physicians alike.
ENT surgeons (also known as otolaryngologists) specialise in the diagnosis and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, head and neck problems. These include issues such as balance disorders, hearing loss, cancers of the head and neck, speech or swallowing disorders, snoring and other sleep disorders. Our resident ENT physician also handles ear related congenital abnormalities, as well as providing input in the management of head & neck cancers, and maxilla-facial fractures.

Paediatricians are physicians who specialise in the care and health management of infants, children and adolescents. Rejang Specialist Hospital currently have a paediatric clinic located on our ground floor. Our resident paediatrician not only provides both out-patient and in-patient care, but is also responsible for the newborns from our labour ward.
